The term "court approved" is used by many websites with online courses. Technically, there is no such thing as "court approved" therapy.
Local legal expert Denis Lane explains that,
"When a defendant is told to complete an anger management group or individual counseling for anger management, the court will leave it to the therapist to structure a treatment program that is appropriate. The therapist then, with client consent, informs the court when the program has been successfully completed.
These sessions should count as long as the legal matter does not involve a domestic violence charge, or is required for parole.
* Insurance: Currently, we do not process insurance in the office, but can provide a detailed receipt. The receipts contain all the codes and information that insurance companies need if they reimburse for this type of treatment.
* Refunds & Cancelations: You may cancel your registration up to 48 hours before the first session and receive a full refund. After that time no refund will be granted.
* All sessions must be scheduled within a 90 day time period.
